If everything goes right, then shuttling between India and Dubai by air will soon become more convenient. This is because there is a good possibility that the request of various private Indian airlines such as Jet Airways, JetLite and Air Deccan will soon get an official go-ahead signal. Both India and Dubai entered into a number of bilateral rights recently and this is expected to forge the operation route for all interested private players. 

 

At present, however, it is only Air India which operates its flights between India and Dubai. It is reported that the private airlines will be permitted to operate on the India Dubai air channel as per the schedule both have filed. 

As such few flights will begin operating immediately, whereas some others will do so during the summer schedule in March the coming year. Sources have informed that the final clearance order is resting in the hands of the ‘highest competent’ authority.
