Indian ace golf player Jeev Milkha Singh has kept his hopes alive at the Celtic Manor Wales Open. Interestingly Jeev has not won any title for last 18 months. His last title was Japan Tour in the year 2006. In this tournament he is just four strokes away from first man Scott Strange (Australia). Alvaro Velasco of Spain held the second spot three strokes behind Strange at the twenty Ten Course.

Jeev was off the blocks with a birdie on the second hole. However, a dropped stroke on the fourth hole pulled him back. Jeev’s backward journey comprised one birdie against a bogey as he rounded off yet another steady performance. After the match Jeev promised that he would be more attacking in the final round to give himself a shot at the title. He said one has to position oneself well here, so one can't knock oneself out by being too aggressive. It all depends on the setup and how one assesses the risk against the reward.
