The ace golfer from India, Jeev Milkha Singh registered his second Japan tour title by wining the Golf Nippon Series JT Cup on Sunday (December 7). So far, Jeev has won four titles on three different tours to break into the top 50 and his other titles include Bank Australia Open (European Tour) and the Barclays Singapore Open (Asian Tour). Starting the day one shot off the lead, Jeev carded a four-under 66 to clinch the title at 12-under 268.
After winning the tile, the champion golfer said that he wants to dedicate it to his wife, Kudrat who had recently given birth to a stillborn child. The news had disturbed the golfer and he even decided to withdraw from the tournament. But on his wife's request, Jeev continued his tour and eventually went on to claim the title at Japan. While talking to media the emotional player stated that his family had been going through bad situations for the past couple of days.
After dedicating the title to his wife, Jeev Milkha Singh conveyed his thanks to the Indian ambassador for supporting him. The golfer has also thanked all his fans and friends for supporting him in such a critical situation. Jeev's first title in Japan came earlier this year when he clinched the Nagashima Shigeo Invitational Sega Sammy Cup. With this recent victory, Jeev is assured of the Asian Tour Order of Merit title as well.
