Golfer Jeev Milkha Singh’s win at the Singapore Open has upped him to 46th spot in the world golf rankings.

With a sensational triumph at the Barclays Singapore Open Jeev Milkha Singh has now joined the elites of the World Golf Rankings. Jeev, with an impressive one-stroke victory over Padraig Harrington and Ernie Els at Sentosa Golf Club sealed his third victory of the season on Sunday and virtually clinched the Asian Tour's Order of Merit title for the second time in three years. Jeev leapfrogged 14 spots to 46 in the world golf rankings.
Also, his win in Singapore made Jeev the first golfer to earn more than one million dollar on the Asian Tour. He grabbed $792,500 at the Singapore Open.
Meanwhile, India’s Jyoti Randhawa, going through a difficult phase has slipped down to 144.He is followed by US-based Arjun Atwal, at 192 rank. Atwal has secured his PGA Tour card for the next season, after failing to make the cut in the Singapore Open. The next Indian in the list is SSP Chowrasia, who is way behind at 305.
