Former finance minister Shoichi Nakagawa of Japan has been found dead in his Tokyo home as per the news reported by the Kyodo news agency today.

 

The body of the 56-year-old was found face down on his bed and it did not appear that he faced any kind of external injuries, according to the police reports.

 

Shoichi Nakagawa was the member of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) however he stepped down in February after he appeared to be drunk at a Group of 7 (G7) press conference.
