Media reports from Japan say that ruling party will dissolve the parliament on October 3 and elections will take place on October 26. However, the report is not an official one, and there could be changes. The situation for snap elections occurred as a consequence of Japanese Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda's decision to step down from the post.
Admittedly, the Japanese Prime Minister confessed that he has failed in delivering the promises and has trouble in implementing his policies. Also, there have been a number of scandals in his administration, and as a result there has been a tough opposition from the minority coalition. There would be extraordinary session of the Parliament on next Wednesday to formally elect the new prime minister.
After the formal declaration of prime ministerial candidate, the parliament will be dissolved in a week's time. Also, the government will allow parliament to pass a supplementary budget. The budget according to legislators is aimed to put policy measures upfront to help consumers and businesses. The budget expectedly will help people to cope with high fuel and commodity prices prevailing in Japanese market.
