Actress Jamie Lee Curtis, who has starred in hits like ‘True Lies’ has come out in defense for the Hannah Montana star, Miley Cyrus’s controversial photographs. Cyrus has been in news over the past few days over her semi-nude pictures which are to be published on the cover of Vanity magazine. The 15 year old popular teen icon has in fact even apologized over her ‘embarrassing’ pictures.
Jamie Lee Curtis remarked that it is the showbiz industry which should be blamed for creating all this controversy around the child. She added that none of this should be news but it is news because it is a show-business and if you throw a child in to the jaws of this business they will get eaten up by it. Miley Cyrus had revealed that she was manipulated to pose for the pictures which have come out in the media. Curtis remarked that Cyrus is a child and could not possibly handle any of this. She further added that her guardians should have protected the Hannah Montana star.
