As the Oscar countdown begins from the first week of March the much buzz is around with the two famous flicks ‘Avatar’ and ‘The Hurt Locker’. Out of the ten Best Picture for Oscar award nominees, the main battle seems to be between James Cameron’s flick ‘Avatar’ and ‘The Hurt Locker’.

Here the blue-skinned navy of ‘Avatar’ face challenge from Jeremy Renner and his steel-nerved bomb-disposal colleagues in ‘The Hurt Locker’ as both are structured with a similar concept.

While ‘Avatar’ is presented in a superficial way with lots of extravaganzas that crosses near about $500 million, which is a worth viewing also. Estimated to have recovered an additional cool amount on what has been invested for the film.

It is expected that both the movies have the chance to swipe the pre-Oscar guild and critic awards.

The final day on March 7th will clear out who will be the ultimate winner in this tough game.
