The martial arts screen hero 54 year old Jackie Chan has decided to make a movie on the recent earth quake in China. He said that there are so many touching stories and through this movie he would be able to depict to the whole world what had happened in China on the day. According to Chan the movie would be another way to raise money for the relief work carried out by social activists.

He wants to make a movie which according to him will highlight the plight of victims of earth quake which took nearly 80,000 lives and left 5 million people homeless and 25,000 still missing. Also, he divulged that he would host a show in the month of June in Hong Kong. He expects more than 100 artists from Asia to participate in it.

His statement came after his visit to hospitals where thousands of victims of terrific earth quake are admitted. Chan told media persons that he already has donated $ 1.4 million to affected people. He has been long associated with charity and relief work with his donations and activities. Chan says that there is still a lot more to be done, and he is there to do what all he can.
