The INX Media is all set to introduce its leading entertainment channel in Hindi, 9X along with its music channel 9XM in the Middle East. For this purpose, the Dubai-based firm Media Solutions has been roped in by the INX Media in order to direct its push into the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and other Middle Eastern countries. Dubai’s Media Solutions serves as a consultancy firm for Television Broadcasting industry. Altaf Alimohamed, who is the former Executive Vice President of STAR TV Dubai, is heading Media Solutions.

Peter Mukerjea, who is the chairman and chief strategy officer of INX Media, has remarked that the association of 9X and 9XM with Media Solutions will assist them to make the channels popular in the gulf region. ‘I am confident that Media Solutions would help us take the popular programming of 9X and 9XM to millions of TV viewers in the Middle East,’ Mr Mukerjea said. Currently, the INX media is telecasting three channels - 9X, music channel 9XM and a news channel NEWSX.
