Chip maker, Intel has announced that its new 32nm dual-core Arrandale chips, Core i5-520UM , Core i7-620UM and Core i7-640UM will be released to the market in early 2010. In the previous conference, Intel had disclosed its plan of releasing new chips for its netbooks.
 
Intel has also unveiled its 45nm Nehalem architecture based 'Clarksfield' processors at its Developers Forum in 2009.
 
Earlier, the company had displayed the new 32nm processors, Westmere.
 
The new chips will sport with 32nm core processors along with integrated memory controller and a 45nm integrated graphics card. Hence, the new chips will be a good combination of graphics and memory controller.
 
The Integrated Graphics Processor Unit (GPU) is designed to support Intel's next generation video processing technology,Clear Video HD. Clear Video HD is an advanced technology which allows two HD video streams altogether. However, the new graphics will only support DirectX 10 natively.
 
The Arrandale Core i5-520UM will have a processing speed of 1.06GHz like the Core i7-620UM but Core i7-640UM will come with 1.2GHz.
 
The Arrandale Core i5-520UM is priced at $241 (Rs. 11, 570 approx.). Similarly, the other two chips are priced at $278 and $305 respectively.
 
As per Dell’s internal sources, there may be a new Calpella platform CPUs in the third quarter next year. Earlier, Intel had announced to release the Pine Trail-M mobile platform for the netbooks in 2010.
