Infosys and Wipro are in the Forbes' list of 50 best listed companies in the Asia-Pacific region. Out of fifty companies, ten are from India. India's BHEL is at fifth rank; on the other hand Bharti Airtel is ranked sixth in the list. No other company from India could make into the top ten list. Private sector lender HDFC Bank is at 22nd position.
Other firms that have made into the list are; IT major Infosys 25th and ITC at 27th. Larsen and Toubro, an engineering and infrastructure firm has made to 30th rank. Other than these, Mahindra & Mahindra (34), Reliance Industries (39), and steel maker Tata Steel (44) too have made to the list. Major software exporter Wipro too made to the list and ranked 46th.
Taiwan-based computer maker Acer topped the 'Asian Fabulous 50' ranking. Angang Steel of China is at number two. Major computer maker from Taiwan Asustek Computer is ranked third in the list. At fourth position is Bank Rakyat Indonesia from Indonesia. Factually, thirteen Chinese companies are included in the list by Forbes.
