Infosys Technologies Australia has appointed Jackie Korhonen as its new CEO on November 17, 2008. The Vice -President of IBM Australia-New Zealand, Korhonen will replace Gary Ebeyan after he decided to leave the company. Korhonen will take over the responsibility of Infosys CEO on December 15. On the other hand, the out going CEO will offer his service in company's advisory board until January 2009.  Meanwhile report confirms that Korhonen has already joined the Infosys Australia on the day of her appointment.  Talking about his decision of leaving the company, Gary Ebeyan said that he finds his future at stake and hence decided to quit.

 

The out going CEO conveyed his gratitude towards the company for allowing him to offer his service. He stated that during his tenure, the company underwent different ups and downs and finally consolidated its position in Australia by attaining phenomenal growth in revenues, profits and clients. Gary Ebeyan has served as the CEO of the company for five years. The Australian subsidiary of Infosys Technologies, Infosys Australia offers technology driven business solutions. The leading company of Australia is also collaborated with other majors of the country.
