Gurgaon-based private airline, IndiGo Airlines has introduced new non-stop daily flights from Ahmedabad to five other cities - New Delhi, Mumbai, Jaipur, Hyderabad and Chennai. Talking to media, the president of IndiGo Airlines, Aditya Ghosh informed that with the operation of new services, the carrier will have 121 daily flights connecting 17 destinations in the country. He further stated that the IndiGo Airlines has not been affected by aviation industry crisis. The airline also plans to continue its hiring policies in Ahmedabad.
 
According to Aditya Ghosh, the city of Ahmedabad offers a good opportunity for IndiGo to expand its business plans. Operating daily flight service in the industrial and business hub of western India will not only benefit the carrier but also enable the people of Gujarat to enjoy low cost air travel. IndiGo Airlines assured to offer its consumers high quality service without any hassles or delay.
 
Informing about the future plans, the president of IndiGo said that the carrier will introduce its 19th flight by the end of this month. Ghosh also, did not decline the possible launch of Ahmedabad-Surat-Mumbai flight service. The privately owned domestic airline of India, IndiGo Airlines earned massive popularity for its low fares. Its main base is Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi.
