Former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly, who remained unsold in the recently held Indian Premier League auctions, has earned the sympathy of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) owner Shah Rukh Khan. Khan has expressed his pity for the Prince of Kolkata hinting that he might take Ganguly into his team.

In the recently completed IPL auctions, none of the franchises showed interest in buying Ganguly during the first round of auctions that ended on Sunday.

Sadly, even in the second turned out bad for Ganguly as no franchises were willing to buy him though there were speculations that one of the franchises would buy Ganguly.

Amidst this, Shah Rukh Khan has reportedly said that there is no IPL team possible in Kolkata without Ganguly. He has also said that he would try to take Ganguly after having a talk with him, sources said.
