Indian film Staying Alive directed by Ananth Mahadevan is making waves at film festivals around the world. It has now been selected for a screening at the 5th Stuttgart Bollywood and Beyond film festival which will kick off from July 16 onwards in
Director Ananth Mahadevan himself along with Saurabh Shukla are the main protagonists of this film. Due to heart attack, the characters portrayed by Mahadevan and Shukla share a common room in the ICU ward of a hospital. The film has beautifully captured the contrast in how both the characters perceive their conditions. While one makes fun about it because he is seasoned as it is his third attack, the other is terrified on experiencing his first. Staying Alive is a movie about being thankful at the joy of just staying alive.
