To put more international pressure on Pakistan for taking action against the perpetrators of Mumbai attacks, a pool of 150 influential Indian-Americans leaders have formed a lobby group in America.

The group is likely to meet the members of the new Obama Administration and top Congressmen to demand that they should pressurize Pakistan to bring those responsible for Mumbai terror attack into justice.

These community leaders from various parts of the country will hold the meeting tomorrow (28th January) to impress upon the Obama team. The group is known as “Indian American Task Force” (IATF), which was set up by several community organizations such as Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA) and the US India Political Action Committee.

These leaders will lobby at the Capitol and before the new administration for ensuring immediate and strict action against the perpetrators of one of the bloodiest attacks, which killed over 170 people, including six Americans.

San Francisco-based Task Force Joint Coordinator Mukesh Advani said that they are not there to highlight terrorism directed against innocent civilians in India, but also because they believe that these developments in India represent a clear security challenge to the US.
