India led by Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni is all set to play their last league game against the hosts in the Bangladesh tri-series on Thursday, June 12, 2008. After their massive 140 run victory over Pakistan on Tuesday, the Indian team is likely to have it against Bangladesh today. The match will perhaps be good practice for the Indian team before Saturday’s final.
The chances of Bangladesh winning the match at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur seem bleak. This would mean that Pakistan could be in danger of missing the final and the hosts would once again join the Indians for the Saturday series final match.
Captain MS Dhoni, however, rested aside any doubts of taking the match lightly, who indicated that his side will take the match seriously. The Indian skipper remarked that they have to win every match, though he later added that in fact it is not about winning or losing the match but about going out there and playing to your potential.
