India will face Iraq in the Group C of the qualifying rounds of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Under-19 Championship on Thursday. The match will be played at Arbil in Iraq.
According to information, Indians have already arrived at Arbil on Tuesday evening from Dubai and had a full training session at the Francouse Al - Harerri Stadium.
Indian coach Colm Toal said that the team had a good session and stressed on set pieces and different combinations at mid-field and defence.
Toal said,"It is a tough group as all the teams are good. We have not seen Afghanistan but rest of the teams are all good. Some of the boys of this team who were in India Under 16 had earlier played in 2007 and drawn Iraq 2-2.”
Saudi Arabia, Oman, Afghanistan and Kuwait are the other teams drawn alongside India in the Group C.
