Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar was dismissed after he hit his 46th ton in the fourth day of first test between India and South Africa being played at VCA stadium in Nagpur on Tuesday.
Tendulkar cracked the ton post lunch when he played a Wayne Parnell delivery to point for a single. Tendulkar also made his first century against South Africa in his homeground.This is Tendulkar's third century in as many Test matches as he got centuries in the last two Tests against Bangladesh.
But soon Paul Harris pocketed Tendulkar’s with a delivery onto his stumps. Before lunch, Tendulkar cracked his 55th Test fifty to lead India to 162 on Day four.
Murali Vijay and Tendulkar had a partnership stand of 72 runs. The pair continued till late on Monday evening after India lost openers Gautam Gambhir and Virender Sehwag by the fifth over.
Tendulkar played carefully making use of every ball. Sachin took 51 balls on the fourth day to reach the milestone from his overnight 15.His fourth day score includes 7 boundaries.
