India stated on Tuesday that the allegations put forward by Pakistan against India saying that India was the source of origin of troubles in Pakistan was absolutely false. It has also denied any kind of relation with the terror developments happening in Pakistan.
"We have absolutely nothing to do with whatever is happening in Baluchistan or whatever is happening within Pakistan. I think it is their own making," said the Minister For External Affairs, S.M. Krishna.
The External Affairs Minister also mentioned that the non-effective functioning of Pakistani government can be attributed to the “total confusion” existing in the nation.
Athar Abbas, who is the spokesperson of Pakistan military, had mentioned that Pakistan had enough proof that India was among the nations who were providing funds for creating terror in Baluchistan.
He alleged that Pakistani security forces had seized Indian-made arms and equipment from the Taliban bastion of South Waziristan and added that Islamabad would soon raise the issue through diplomatic channels.
"The Pakistan Foreign Office has been informed of the discovery of Indian ammunition. The matter would be taken up through diplomatic channels with the Indian authorities," he said.
Pakistan’ Interior Minister Rehman Malik had made a statement last week saying that India was among the nations which was providing funds for Taliban for creating unrest in Pakistan. These statements were denied by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh saying that they were completely baseless. “What was said about the Indian role in Baluchistan has no basis. Those who are levelling these false charges know it jolly well," said he prime minister during this two-day Kashmir visit.
"The same applies to the accusation of India supporting the Taliban. Nothing can be farfetched, far from the truth. We are victims of terrorism aided and abetted from the Pakistan side. Both references to Baluchistan and what is said about Taliban are widely false," he added.
