India secured the sixth position in the Nomura Cup golf tournament in South Korea. Indian golfer Abhishek Jha gained one-over 73 to get India the sixth spot.
The Indian team made a total of 12-over 228 with Rashid Khan scoring 76 and Pawan Kumar with 79. Abhishek's scores were the three best cards contribute to the team score.
According to information received, Karan Vasudeva went nine-over 81.
The hosts with a commanding total of four-under 212 took the top place, four clear of the team from Chinese Taipei.
Playing his back nine first, Abhishek was even-par for the round before a double-bogey on the 18th and a bogey right after he made the turn put him back. The 22-year-old rebounded strongly with two birdies to finish one-over for the day.
Abhishek Jha currently is tied for sixth place in the individual standings.
