The Indian Government has requested the exiled Tibetan spiritual leader, Dalai Lama not to engage in political activities as it would hurt the country’s ties with China. India, however, accentuated that it will continue to shower hospitality on the great spiritual leader Dalai Lama as well as permit him to preach Tibetan religion in the country. But his engaging in any political activity on Indian soil that may hamper the India and China relationship is disallowed. This announcement was made after China pointed that it expects India to prevent anti-China political activities on its soil.
