‘Dabangg’ raked in huge sums of money and the amount even exceeded the amount earned by the last smashing hit ‘3-Idiots’, well aware by this fact, the Income Tax Department raided in the movie producers offices for investigation.

 

The raid started yesterday at around 3 pm and ended at 3 am in the night, the raid happened in around 10 offices in Mumbai, near St Andrew’s church and Bandra.

 

Meanwhile, Arbaaz stated, "It is just a routine check on the advance tax as `Dabangg` has collected lot of money.”

 

The movie raked in more than 47 crores and it exceeds the amount of 38 crores earned by ‘3-Idiots’. The nature of the raid was to check the accounts and find out the utilization of the money.
