Dominique Strauss-Kahn the head of IMF is under investigation for alleged abuse of power with sexual engagement with subordinate Piroska Nagy. The law firm Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP is going to do probing and will conclude the report on the culpability of IMF chief. The report is expected to be concluded in this month only.

The explosive situation arose after Nagy's husband prominent Argentine-born economist Mario Blejer discovered emails from Nagy to Straus. However, Strauss-Kahn has said that he has cooperated and continues to cooperate with outside counsel to the fund concerning this matter. He said that affair took place in January 2008, but he never abused his position as the fund's MD.

The act of Strauss-Kahn is not first or last in multilateral monetary organizations head who has been implicated for the crime to which Japanese newspapers call 'lower half problem." Recently, Paul Wolfowitz of World Bank was caught in similar controversy. The 'lower half problem' is not new. Biggies such as Bill Clinton, Arnold Schwarzenegger, JFK and now Strauss Kahn all have it.
