The popular image and video-hosting service, Imageshack has added the video recording service to be used for Twitter. So the users can use their webcams to attach their photos to the outgoing twitter messages.

The recent addition differs from Twitter’s other services like Twitcam and Camtweet which can help the Twitter user to record video as well as stream it out live for the followers. These are great ways of watching streaming clips as well as interacting with the followers.

Yfrog has some of the advantages like generous time limits like the video can go past the 40-minute mark. However, it will be a site specific feature. That means third-party posting tools cannot take advantage of it.

The third party can take the advantage of using it if it is integrated into Flash-based video widgets. Many developers have started integrating video into their apps using Yfrog’s existing video uploading API.
