A number of online courses will be introduced by the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) from this week onwards. It was only on Sunday, August 10 that IGNOU had announced its plans to expand its distance learning programmes.

 

The online courses will be offered for PhD, M. Phil, MA and post-graduate diploma by IGNOU. Apart from this, IGNOU in alliance with the Puducherry-based Sri Aurobindo Centre for Advanced Research (SACAR) will also introduce an array of post-graduate certificate courses.  

 

Those wanting to know about and apply for these online courses can do so through SACAR's website. All these courses are going to begin from September first week. SACAR already provides varied online courses in the fields of integral social and political thought, integral education, philosophy, yoga-psychology, Indian culture, literature and aesthetics.
