Bangalore based BPO major Accenture and IGNOU have entered into a collaboration to offer a diploma course on BPO services in India. The course aims to develop a diploma programme is designed to help grow India’s outsourcing industry. It will facilitate comprehensive human resource training to candidates to make career in BPO sector.

 

This one-year programme will be available to more than ten lakh students from across the India through various well knitted networks of IGNOU. The course promises to offer students an understanding of a range of BPO services, including developing personal computing and communication skills, which are major essential eligibility criteria to work in BPOs.

 

Accenture, under the agreement will provide the subject matter expertise. Also, it would be coordinating with the IGNOU team to develop the courseware for the program. To get admission into the course candidates need to pass the IGNOU certificate course in Communications skills or an equivalent program as deemed by IGNOU.
