The advertising group Mudra, which is being controlled by Anil Ambnai, on Tuesday, has launched a new company, Ignite Mudra, which is targeted towards building brands for new entrepreneurs.
"The Mudra group has been responsible for building several iconic brands such as Vimal, Dhara, Rasna, Itch Guard, Dermicool, Moov and Nutralite for the past three decades," said Ignite Mudra president Chandan Nath at a press conference in Ahemdabad.
"The agency now plans to use this heritage to help grow entrepreneurial ventures by building strong brands across geographies in India and abroad," Nath said.
According to him, there is a scarcity in services offered for the entrepreneurs that provides systematic guidance to build sustainable brands.
"At Ignite Mudra, we want to utilize our intuitive understanding of the needs of the entrepreneurs and our experience in growing successful brands to create a broader brand building platform," he added.
The new company will be headquartered in Ahmedabad.
