According to an official statement, the sixth ministerial meeting of the India-Brazil-South Africa forum will kick off on Tuesday in Brazil.
 
The meeting will be attended by the Brazilian Foreign Minister Celso Amorin, Indian Foreign Minister S.M. Krishna and South African Foreign Minister Maite Nkoana-Mashabane. Brazilian Foreign Minister Celso Amorin will be presiding over the meeting.
 
The IBSA ministerial meeting is held on an annual basis. The major goal of the meeting is to develop a secure cooperation among India, Brazil and South Africa. This information regarding the meeting was given by a spokesperson of the Foreign Ministry of Brazil.
 
A ministerial declaration will be adopted by all the three foreign minister after the meeting. This ministerial declaration will be based on the main issues which were discussed in the meeting including the preparations for the fourth summit of the forum which is slated to kick off on Oct 8 in Brazil.
 
The India-Brazil-South Africa Forum of Talks (IBSA) came into existence in 2003.
