Music Composer Ram Sampath justifies himself, by saying that he had done the right thing by dragging the Roshans in the court for allegedly copying the tunes composed by him in their film Krazzy 4. Sampath had alleged that the tunes used in the item songs "Break Free" were picked up from his jingle which he had created for Sony Ericcson Jingle.

Sampath said that he had been under pressure from the film fraternity to change his stand, but also claimed that he cannot be a mere spectator if somebody steals his rightful property. The suit filed in the Bombay High Court found the Roshans guilty and ruled the case in favor of Sampath.

But then the matter was settled through negotiations between the Roshans and Sampath and Sampath was paid Rs 2 crore as compensation. Meanwhile Rakesh Roshan is said to be unhappy with the verdict of the court and expressed his shock that Sampath didn't come to him directly but approached the court.
