South Korea-based Hyundai Motors has launched its all new Hyundai Verna Automatic in Indian market. The new vehicle comes with luxurious interiors and improved exterior features. According to MD of Hyundai Motors India Ltd, H.S Lheem, Hyundai Verna comes with an automatic transmission making it the first diesel automatic car in this segment. The newly launched Verna range includes two petrol variants- 1.6 VTVT and 1.6 SX VTVT and two diesel variants - 1.5 CRDi VGT and 1.5 SX CRDi VGT.
The VGT SX variant of Hyundai Verna is incorporated with Automatic transmission. The automatic version provides economy of diesel and the convenience of an automatic transmission in one package. The 1.6 litre petrol variant produces an impressive 102 bhp of maximum power, whereas the1.5 litre diesel variant delivers power output of 100 bhp. The high-end diesel variant will be available with both - a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed automatic transmission.
The new Verna comes with aerodynamic styling on the exteriors with a stylish new radiator grille, electrically adjustable ORVM, new chrome insert in waistline moulding, rear chrome garnish and a new full wheel cover for enhanced visual appeal. The interior of the new Verna is comfortable as well as attractive. The new Verna comes in 6 new exciting colours like Blushing Red, Stone Black, Crystal White, Champagne Gold, Sleek Silver & Deep Ocean Blue. The Verna rage will carry a price tag ranging from Rs 637,700 to Rs 865,350.
