Hyundai Motor India, India's second largest car maker, has announced 21-24 percent increment in the wages for workers at its plant near Chennai.
The three-year wage agreement is effective from April 1 this year, the company said. It will benefit all permanent workers at the factory, numbering over 1,600.
The company claims Hyundai Motors workers are the highest paid in the Indian automobile sector.
