Hyundai i20 Car Launched In India
Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) has launched a new version of its premium compact car, i20 along with two variants of the existing models.
The i20 compact car is priced between Rs. 4.52 lakh and Rs. 7.48 lakh.
According to the company, some new features have been added to its existing variants such as Magna and Asta.
The new models that have been introduced are Era (Rs. 4.52 lakh) and Sportz (Rs. 5.32 lakh). These models will be available in both petrol and diesel versions.
“While the variants are targeted at our customers who have different needs, the new features will help improve the i20 and make it even more desirable for our customers,” HMIL Managing Director and CEO, H W. Park, said in a statement.
With the new i20 range, the diesel version across all the variants will be available in six-speed manual transmission, the company said.
The new i20 will come with many features like manual transmission shift indicators in diesel variants, a prompt for the driver to change gears to maximum fuel economy, a fully automatic temperature control system, a burglar alarm, steering wheel with audio remote and passenger vanity mirror.
According to the company, the new i20 petrol version can provide a mileage of 18.15 km/litre and the diesel variant can deliver a mileage of 21.93 km/litre. Both the models comply with the BS IV norms.
