The Begumpet International Airport at Hyderabad is all set to host India Aviation 2008 from October 15, 2008. This mega event is organized by the civil aviation ministry of India in collaboration with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI). Besides organizing air shows, it includes an international conference on aviation. The conference is supposed to be attended by eminent aviation experts and industry leaders from more than 20 countries. The organizers said that India Aviation 2008 will also feature an exhibition show on Indian aviation history with rare photographs.
Several aviation companies and airlines are supposed to participate in India Aviation 2008. Companies like Jet Airlines, Kingfisher Airlines, Air India, Bell Helicopter and Cessna Aircraft Company will attend the mega event. Besides these, a special air bus form Germany, A-319 will be inaugurated at the air show. Among various dignitaries, India's Civil Aviation Minister Praful Patel will also be present to witness the event. The India Aviation 2008 is supposed to provide a nice platform for the domestic aviation companies to meet their international counterparts. The four-day air show will end on October 19, 2008.
