China, it seems, has finally found an ally in the Venezuela President Hugo Chavez who said recently that he fully supports China on its Tibet mission. Hugo also rebuked attempts being made by anti-China protestors the world over to upset the Beijing Olympics. The Venezuelan President clearly stated that he and his country were strongly behind Beijing and viewed Tibet as an integral part of China.

 

China has our complete and unrestricted solidarity, said the Venezuelan president. He further added that it is the United States that was responsible for all that was happening as it wants to disrupt the Olympics. Hugo Chavez, thus, sought world support for China on the Tibet issue. This, as per him, would also ensure that the Olympics turned out to be a big success.
