HTC has augmented its line-up of mobile phones in India again with the launch of HTC Touch Viva model. The compact design houses an ultra-sensitive touch screen for navigation through contacts, media and web pages with new Touch-FLO, the latest in HTC's unique touch screen interface technology.

Priced at Rs. 16,490, the HTC Touch Viva features a full QWERTY keypad that slides out from behind the screen. One can flip through album artwork, pictures and videos as if they were picture cards in the palm. The phone also has a new customized web browser, which allows panning and zooming of pages. The YouTube application for playing videos is also present as well as Google Maps. .

The Touch Viva boasts of a 2.8 inch display, a TV-Out feature and 2 megapixels camera. With a built in RSS feed to keep you abreast of the latest developments in the world of media, the Touch Viva has the capability to send and receive Outlook email with Microsoft Office documents instantly. HTC has also tied up with Idea mobile service so that users can who opt for Idea as their service provider will get 1200 MB of free downloads.
