HTC has launched its new smartphone S740 HTC which has the fastest mobile broadband with downloading capacity of 7.2 Mbps. Other features of the handset are: 2.4-inch QVGA Display screen, microSD Flash Memory card, 3.2 megapixel camera with fixed focus, Second VGA camera for video calling, 256 MB flash and 256 MB RAM Internal memory.

 

The most attractive feature of the mobile is it has web-browser which is 18 times faster than 3G. Its true mobile broadband enables users to browse swiftly all the available web pages and websites. Users can locate a restaurant with the help of Google Maps. Also, those who are blog bug, the handset is ideal as it enables to post blogs into it successfully.

 

The handset has 12-key keypad, and QWERTY keyboard. SMS and instant messaging could be done with the help of 12-key interface on the front of the cell phone. The phone supports POP3, IMAP and Exchange push email. Also, video podcasting can be done with the help of integrated RSS reader. Official release from the firm said that the HTC S740 cell phone is available across Europe.
