After Bollywood’s leading male stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan and Govinda, it is the turn of the industry’s young heartthrob Hrithik Roshan to join the bandwagon of reality television. Hrithik has been named the goodwill ambassador of NDTV Imagine’s new musical reality show ‘Junoon – Kuch Kar Dikhaane Ka’, staring from June 6. The actor is neither going to host the show nor will he perform nor judge. Hrithik instead will be a support system for the participants and teams on the show.
Hrithik, on being named the goodwill ambassador of the show, remarked that he is very happy to be associated with the show. The actor stated that he can relate to the positive and exuberant spirit of the participants and their desire to achieve success as he believes that he has a similar enthusiasm – be it for his work or personal life.
The show will be hosted by Annu Kapoor of Antakshari fame. The show will have three teams, with six participants each to represent the genre of folk, Sufi and filmy. Shailja Kejriwal, executive vice president of NDTV Imagine commenting on the association with Hrithik said that Hrithik epitomizes the passion, which is present in all the talented artists that are part of the show.
