HP has unveiled two printers in the Indian market namely LaserJet 1007 and LaserJet 1008. The printers are said to be highly flexible and productive. HP has claimed that the two printers are the smallest and the most compact laser printers available in the Indian market which will be useful for offices and homes which don't have adequate space.

 

Both the printers have spherically shaped toner and a redesigned cartridge which have been patented by HP. As a result of the new monochrome cartridges the printed images are sharp, bold and crisp. LaserJet 1007 can print 15 pages per minute whereas LaserJet 1008 can print 17 pages per minute. The no-wait Instant-on technology helps the printers to deliver a printed page in less than 8.5 seconds.

 

Ajay Rawal, Country Category Manager, Commercial Volume LaserJets, Imaging and Printing Group, Hewlett-Packard India said that the new printers will meet all the expectations of the customers and its outstanding features (patented spherical toner, compact size and high print speed) of the printers will add to customer delight. LaserJet 1007 is priced at Rs 6,699 while LaserJet 1008 is priced at Rs 8,299.
