Indian market will soon be flooded with Hewlett Packard’s latest Compaq desktop PC. HP Compaq dc7800 ultra slim is scheduled to hit the Indian market by 1 May 2008. The ultra slim computer is the industry’s first desktop PC to incorporate solid state hard-drive (SSD). Compaq dc7800 is a power saving computer especially designed for business users.

 

The energy efficient desktop with a variety of environmental features, complies with the toughest environmental requirements of the Electronic Product Environmental Assessment Tool (EPEAT) Gold registry. HP Compaq dc7800 is priced at a moderate sum of Rs,40,000. It will provide the user a faster system start, improved power efficiency, better reliability and shock improvement.

 

The ultra slim desktop will come with a Intel Core 2 Duo processor, up to 4GB RAM, Intel vPro technology, maximum 160GB hard drive, dual layer DVD burner, Graphics Media accelerator and Vista. The latest offering of HP is believed to be one of industry’s smallest enterprise ready desktop which saves up to 85 percent of energy, without compromising on the performance.
