The HP Company has announced that it will be introducing the all new EliteBook 6930p notebook soon. It is being claimed by HP that their new laptop, on a single charge, can run for 24 hours. But this can happen only if the EliteBook 6930p notebook has special Intel solid-state hard drive (SSD), mercury-free LED display as well as power efficient Illumi-Lite LED display. The user can buy both of these as optional accessories at the time of purchasing the laptop.
It was further claimed by the HP Company that Intel's SSD and mercury-free LED displays benefit their batteries. HP had stated that the LED displays extend the life of old screens by about four hours. Also when compared to a general disk drive, the solid-state SSD hard drive gives a seven per cent boost to battery life. The HP EliteBook 6930p laptops will come to the market some time around October.
