Sonakshi Sinha is the talk of the town now-a-days, everyone is praising her beauty and looks, but one would wonder sometimes that how she got the opportunity of acting in ‘Dabangg’.
As per the present facts, it was Salman Khan who convinced the producer of the movie and brother Arbaaz to take in Sonaskhi in ‘Dabangg’. But, the point to be noted is that what propelled him to take this decision.
It happened Sonakshi was on the list of the invitees in Amrita Arora’s mehendi ceremony before her wedding. Since, Amrita is Malaika’s younger sibling and even ties Rakhi to Arbaaz, the Khan Brothers were also present on the day there.
At the event, like the other guests celebrities Sonakshi gave a mind blowing performance as she danced on the tunes of ‘Main Aayi Hu UP, Bihar Lootne’ from the movie ‘Shool’. As Salman saw her dancing in Bihari style, he thought that she would perfectly fit in a Bihari style movie.
Salman adds further, “Arbaaz was already looking out for a girl to play the lead opposite to me but he was doubtful whether she would be able to act. He told me that he had his own doubts. So I went to Sonakshi and asked her to say “khamosh” in her father’s style.”

“Khamosh has been Shatrughan Sinha’s favorite one-word dialogue in most of his films and he says it with a certain style. I knew Sonakshi mimicked him well. When Sonakshi did that in front of Arbaaz he was blown out of his mind. He immediately signed her for Dabangg," Salman said.

So, this is how the movie came to Sonakshi and she will always rejoice over the fact that her Bihari style was the reason which gave her such a big break.
