Honda CBR250R, the new sports-bike from Honda, will be manufactured in India starting next year, the company said.
 
Honda CBR250R, which has created much hype even before its launch, comes with programmed fuel injection (PGM-FI), 249.4cc and fuel capacity of 3.4 gallons.
 
The bike comes in Metallic Black, Red and Silver, and has a seat height of 30.9 inches, curbs weight of 359 pounds and has a 17-inches wide wheels. The CBR250R model comes with the engine type of liquid-cooled, four-stroke single-cylinder and supports the combined ABS braking system.
 
The new sports-bike, launched to cater world market, would initially be produced in Thailand and would be launched in there in November 2010. The company, however, did not reveal as to when the bike would be launched in other parts of the world.
 
Honda’s earlier models in the Honda CBR250 series had a 4-cylinder, 4-stroke, and 6-gear bike with the capacity of up to 19,000 rpm.
