According to media reports, the home ministry has set Oct 31 as the deadline for those foreign nations who had entered India with business visas, but are still working here illegally, to leave India.
The details concerning this have been posted in the 'Frequently Asked Questions section of the website of home ministry. The document was made after the ministry received a number of queries for clarification on the visa regime.
The home ministry along with external affairs ministry is looking into streamlining the visa processing. This step has been adopted by home ministry after it was found out that a large number of Chinese are working in India with business visas.
