The host of this year's Oscar Awards ceremony, Hugh Jackman is expected to sing at the gala event. Apart from Jackman, Beyonce Knowles is also likely to give her performance at the 81st Annual Academy Awards commencing on Sunday (February 22). According to media reports, Jackman and Knowles will be joined by Vanessa Hudgens and her boyfriend Zac Efron at the awards night.
Both Jackman and Knowles are reported to have started their rehearsals at the Baryshnikov Arts Center in New York City. Apart from them, 'Mamma Mia!' stars Amanda Seyfried and Dominic Cooper also are set to sing at the Oscars. The Hollywood celebrities who will be performing at the musical extravaganza of awards night have been following song-and-dance routine. 'Australia' director Baz Luhrmann will choreograph the numbers.
The 2009 Academy Awards ceremony will take place at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, California on Sunday. Aired by ABC, the event will honor the best in film. India's hopes lie on Danny Boyle's 'Slumdog Millionaire' which has bagged as many as 10 Oscar nominations.
