Actress Hilary Duff who walked the aisle with ice hockey player Mike Comrie on Saturday is said to have signed a pre-nuptial agreement before the marriage.
The pair had an intimate sunset wedding ceremony in Santa Barbara, California.
It is believed that according to the terms of agreement; if the pair is divorced in future they will protect each individual’s personal fortune.
A close pal of the couple quoted, "It was a totally amicable agreement. They love each other very much and knew this was just a technicality.”
Mike uncles Fred Comrie and John Comrie, and his father, Bill Comrie, are the founders of The Brick furniture company which has an approximate USD 500 million wealth.
Hilary, 22, met ice-hockey player 29, during a vacation in Idaho. In February 2010, Duff and Comrie announced they were engaged.
