Hero Honda on Wednesday rubbished the reports of purchasing stakes in the IPL outfit Kings XI Punjab. Reports had claimed that the franchisee owned by actress Preity Zinta, Bombay Dyeing's Ness Wadia, Dabur's Mohit Burman and Karan Paul of the Apeejay Surendera Group was bought by the Pawan Munjal group for a whopping $260 million.

Hero Honda denying the claims, in their official statement said, "The current media reports about Hero Honda buying stake in Kings XI Punjab are completely baseless and untrue. We have not had any discussion in this regard either".

The company also cleared the fact that it will continue its association with IPL as an associate sponsor and also remain the main team sponsor of Delhi Daredevils.
