HCL Technologies has registered a net profit of Rs.300.75 crore for the second quarter of the 2009-10 fiscal which ended on Sep 30. This is about 18.5% up from the net profit reported during the similar period last fiscal.
The company has witnessed a growth in its total income by 5.67%which has been reported to be Rs.1,295 crore when compared to the Rs.1,225 crore registered during similar period last fiscal.
HCL said it has a forex loss of Rs.151 crore during the period under review compared to Rs.80 crore in the like quarter last year.
Earnings per share stood at Rs.4.49 per equity share whereas during the previous year’s similar period it had been Rs.3.8 per share.
