Indian IT company HCL is in expansion mode and recently it has launched its Sydney global development center. The center aimed at customers support from various parts of world will have a staff of over 500 people. Currently, HCL has delivery centers in India, China, Poland, Singapore and Ireland. The company soon will have its US center at North Carolina.
These development centers are part of HCL’s global delivery strategy to offer customers support. Brian Pereira who heads Australian and New Zealand operations of HCL said that the company has been experiencing 80 percent growth year-on-year in the Asia Pacific, Australia and New Zealand regions this year and expect this to continue.
Along with opening its development center at Sydney, HCL will also establish an office in Melbourne to support customers’ research and development needs. Also, it will partner with the Australian Computer Society and the Australian Graduate School of Management and Melbourne Business School for the development of skilled employees in the entire region.
